She was married to Francis Charles HOLTON (son of Robert HOLTON and Sophia Anne SMITHERS) between Oct 1883 and Dec 1883 in Sudbury District. Francis Charles HOLTON was born in 1858. He was an employee of the Ottoman (Aidin) Railway in 1917 in Smyrna, Turkey. He died in 1940. 1919: Francis and Emily were living in Smyrna, Turkey. Emily Jane HOLTON and Francis Charles HOLTON had the following children:

692 iii. Alfred Edward HOLTON was born in 1890 in Boudjah, Smyrna, Turkey. He died on 22 Feb 1919. Alfred died of War wounds. He was awarded the Military Cross. He was a Lieutenant in Royal Marine Artillery. He was buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.
693 iv. John Arthur HOLTON was born in 1893 in Boudjah, Smyrna, Turkey. He died on 4 Oct 1917. John was killed in action. He was a Second Lieutenant in Royal Field Artillery. John was also in the Essex Yeomanry. He was buried in La Clytte Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
