Essex. 1871 Census: Samuel was farming Clock House Farm, Glemsford, Suffolk.
He had 160 acres, employing 8 men and 1 boy.
1881 Census: at Wick Farm, Ardleigh with wife and 3 children where he had 380
acres, employed 20 men and 3 boys.
1882 Kelly's Directory: Samuel is listed under principal landowners farming Ardleigh
Wick Farm.
1901 Census: Samuel was still at Wick Farm, Ardleigh. He is shown as an employer.
He was buried in Ardleigh, Essex. 1851 Census: Samuel, 7, was living with his
family in Langham.
1861 Census: Samuel, 17, was living with his parents at Park Farm, Langham.
1871 Census: Samuel and Elizabeth were at Clock House Farm, Glemsford, Suffolk.
They also had a visitor, Kate Blyth, aged 37, born Nayland, Suffolk, staying
with them.
1881 Census: at Wick Farm, Ardleigh with wife and 3 children. Also with them
were Phoebe A. Blyth, Samuel's sister and 2 servant.
April 1883: Samuel, 39, was admitted into Dedham Nonconformist Church until his
death. He was a farmer from Ardleigh Wick.
Mar 1886: Samuel was in Ardleigh.
1891 Census: Samuel, 47, was living at The Wick, Wick Lane, Ardleigh with his
wife and 3 children. Phoebe A. Blyth and 1 servant were with them.
26th June 1893: Samuel expressed a wish that he be acknowledged as a member of
Langham Baptist Church. He was accepted.
1901 Census: Samuel, 57, widowed, was living at Wick Farm, Ardleigh with some
of his children, his Aunt Phoebe and a domestic servant. Elizabeth BLYTH and
Samuel Robert BLYTH had the following children:

Maude Elizabeth BLYTH was born on 10 Jul 1876 in Ardleigh, Essex. She

Hospital, Colchester, Essex. She was buried in Ardleigh, Essex. 1891 Census:
Maude, 14, was living at The Wick, Wick Lane, Ardleigh with her parents. She
was shown as being a scholar.
January 1894: Maude was admitted into Dedham Nonconformist Church. She was later
removed.
