430. Daniel Blyth HADDON was born on 2 Nov 1813 in Shoreditch, London. He inherited £400 from his grandfather on 27 Jul 1830. Daniel was to receive the legacy and the accumulated interest when he reached 21. He died on 29 Oct 1881 in Colchester, Essex. Daniel died at 1 Butt Road, Colchester. His Will was proved on 7 Dec 1881. Daniel's estate was valued at £403.10.0. He was a Farmer as per 1881 Census. 1841 Census: Daniel was shown as an Assistant Farmer.
In 1881 Daniel was retired. He was buried in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. Memorial Inscription: ... "who / during the many years of his active / life spent in this parish was respected / trusted and beloved by all / who knew him." On the 21 Dec 1835 Daniel requested admittance to Langham Baptist Chapel. He was living in Langham having previously lived in Bocking, Essex. A letter, dated 31 Jan 1836, was received by the Deacons of Langham Baptist Chapel from the Independent Church in Bocking saying Daniel had been dismissed. On the 22 Feb 1836 Daniel was accepted in the Langham Chapel. 16 Oct 1837, Daniel was mentioned as one of the Brethren of the Chapel.
21 Nov 1853: Daniel gave a talk, at Langham Chapel, on churches in Jamaica following a recent visit.
1841 Census: Daniel, 25, was living with Thomas and Elizabeth Blyth at High Fields in Langham.
1881 Census: Daniel, 67, was living with his wife and daughter at Lees House, Gt Coggeshall, Essex. They had a cook and a housemaid with them.
Oct 1881: Daniel was living at 1 Butt Road, Colchester.

Margaret Court UNKNOWN was born on 24 Oct 1829 in Chorlton on Medlock, Lancs. She died on 9 May 1889 in Hartford, Herts. Margaret died at Sele Lodge, Hertford. Her Will was proved on 12 Jul 1889. Her personal estate was valued at £268.3.8. She was buried in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. She was made Executor to the will of her husband, Daniel Blyth Haddon,. Margaret was the Sole Executrix. 1881 Census: Margaret, 51, was living with her husband and daughter at Lees House, Gt Coggeshall. Daniel Blyth HADDON and Margaret Court UNKNOWN had the following children:

656 ii. Frank Daniel HADDON was born about 1861 in Langham, Essex. He was made Executor to the will of his mother, Margaret Haddon, on 12 Jul 1889. He was a Commissions Agent Calico Printing as per 1881 Census. Jul 1889: Frank was a Calico Printer. 1881 Census: Frank, 20, single, was lodging with Matilda Riley at 15 Weymouth Street, Chorlton on Medlock, Lancs.
Jul 1889: Frank was living at 71 High Street, Chorlton on Medlock, Lancaster.
657 iii. Margaret Blyth HADDON was born on 24 Jan 1863 in Langham, Essex. She died on 28 Nov 1881 in Hartford, Herts. She was buried in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. 1881 Census: Margaret, 18, single, was living with her parents at Lees House, Gt Coggeshall.
