987. David Malyon ALLAN was born in 1896 in Waipukarau, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. He died on 12 Mar 1940 in Mangere, Auckland, New Zealand. David was killed in an accident when his harness broke and he fell from an aeroplane whilst instructing a pupil. Mangere is now Auckland's International Airport. He was a Comissioner in the Punjab.

He was divorced from Emma Florence Constance OGILVIE. He was married to Emma Florence Constance OGILVIE (daughter of George OGILVIE). Emma Florence Constance OGILVIE was also known as Floss. David Malyon ALLAN and Emma Florence Constance OGILVIE had the following children:
