383. William Francis BLYTH was born on 16 Feb 1812 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. He was baptized on 9 Aug 1813 in Thorpe-le-Soken, Essex. He emigrated on 9 Mar 1835 to Hobart, Tasmania. William emmigrated to Tasmania on board the 'Wave'. He was a Postmaster in Sep 1850 in Bushy Park, Tasmania, Australia. He died on 9 Feb 1891 in Caulfield, Victoria, Australia. He was buried on 10 Feb 1891 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia. c 1867: William, Elizabeth and some of the family moved to Brunswick, Victoria, Australia.

He was married to Elizabeth CROWTHER (daughter of William CROWTHER and Sarah PEARSON) on 10 Dec 1835 in St Davids, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Elizabeth CROWTHER was born on 29 Jul 1815 in Stockport, Cheshire. She died on 22 Aug 1897 in Sandringham, Victoria, Australia. She was buried on 23 Aug 1897 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.
