She obtained a marriage license on 29 Jul 1771. John Blomfield of Lawford, Farmer, and Henry Blomfield of Lawford, Farmer, paid the bond of £200. Both John and Martha were single and over 21. The marriage was to take place at Langham. She was married to John BLOMFIELD (son of Henry BLOMFIELD) on 30 Jul 1771 in Langham, Essex. John was from Lawford, Essex, Martha was from Langham. Married by licence. Both signed their names. Witnesses were Samuel Blyth and John ___. John BLOMFIELD was born before 1750. He was made Executor to the will of his father in law, Samuel Blyth, on 6 Dec 1784. He inherited money and farming stocks from his father in law on 14 May 1785. John was left his father in laws farming stock and money owing to him at the time of his death. Out of this John had to pay the charge of proving the will together with several legacies mentioned in the will. He inherited £100 from his mother in law, Martha Blyth, on 18 Sep 1802. child122 ii. Henry BLOMFIELD was baptized on 9 Jun 1774 in Dedham, Essex. Baptised at Dedham Independent Chapel. He inherited land and property from his grandfather, Samuel Blyth, on 14 May 1785. When his grandmother died Henry was to receive the land and property his grandfather had left to her. This consisted the property, Malting Office and 6 acres of land in Dedham together with a property in Dedham Heath known as 'The Sign of the ___' then occupied by Widow Fuller. He inherited £50 from his grandmother, Martha Blyth, when he reached 21 years on 18 Sep 1802.

child124 iv. Martha BLOMFIELD was baptized on 27 Nov 1775 in Dedham, Essex. Baptised at Dedham Independent Chapel. She inherited £100 from her grandmother, Martha Blyth, when she reached 21 years on 18 Sep 1802.
child125 v. Samuel BLOMFIELD was baptized on 12 Nov 1778 in Dedham, Essex. Baptised at Dedham Independent Chapel. He inherited land and property in Dedham from his grandfather, Samuel Blyth on 14 May 1785. Samuel Blyth left his grandson 2 pieces of land, approximately 14 acres, and 8 hereditaments in Dedham. He inherited £50 from his grandmother, Martha Blyth, when he reached 21 years on 18 Sep 1802. 1784: Samuel was bequeathed 14 acres of land and the buildings thereon in Dedham Hall from his Grandfathers will.

At the time of his Aunt, Mary Freeman, death George was to receive the land his grandfather had left her - West Fields, 10 acres near Dedham and 54 acres of land in ___. George was to continue to pay £10 to his grandmother whilst she was still alive. He inherited £100 from his grandmother, Martha Blyth, when he reached 21 years on 18 Sep 1802. 1784: George was bequeathed, from his grandfathers will, 2 pieces of land .
