Daniel Blyth - Ruling passed on the 4th July 1785.

Borough of Colchester:

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us Samuel Ennon Esquire Mayor and Thomas Boggis Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the said Borough by Daniel Blyth late of Colchester but now of Elmstead in the County of Essex Mariner that Benjamin Chamberlain who is his Apprentice hath frequently behaved in a very disorderly mannor and hath often absented himself from the Service of the said Daniel Blyth his Master And whereas the said Daniel Blyth and the said Benjamin Chamberlain have both of them applied to us to discharge the said Benjamin Chamberlain from the said Apprenticeship We therefore at the joint Request of the said Daniel Blyth and Benjamin Chamberlain DO discharge the said Benjamin Chamberlain from his said Apprenticeship and all Service under the same anything in the said Indentures of Apprenticeship contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding Given under our hands and Seals the fourth day of July one thousand seven hundred and eighty five.
