406. Daniel Thomas BLYTH was baptized on 26 Aug 1823 in Fort William Garrison Church, Calcutta, Bengal, India. He died in Jun 1857 in Jhansi, Bengal, India. Daniel died during the Indian Mutiny. He was a Surveyor.
c 1844 Daniel joined his brother, William Edward working in Surveys.
1845: Daniels marriage documents show his occupation as 'Works Department'.
1850: Daniel was Sub Assistant on a Revenue Survey in Bareilly. He was also known as Daniel Blake. At the time of his baptism, Daniels father was still using the surname Blake. This reverted to Blyth about 1828.

He was married to Caroline RIGGERS (daughter of Andrew RIGGERS) on 7 Jul 1845 in Dum Dum, Bengal, India. Caroline was 16, Daniel was of full age when they married. The witnesses were WE Blyth and SM Blyth. They were married by Banns. Caroline RIGGERS was born in 1829. She died in Jun 1857 in Jhansi, Bengal, India. Died in the Indian Mutiny. Daniel Thomas BLYTH and Caroline RIGGERS had the following children:
