578. Robert BLYTH was born on 16 Mar 1849 in Hobart, Tasmania. He died on 12 Oct 1917 in Flinders Island, Tasmania. He was buried in She Oak Point, Flinders Island, Tasmania. Aged 16 Robert was sent back to England to attend Altringham Agricultural College. He returned to Tasmania in 1868.
May 1884: Robert and his brother Arthur took the lease on West Sisters Island in the Furneaux Islands. Robert remained there for most of his life.

He was married to Rosada Helen WALTERS on 9 Nov 1885 in Sorell, Tasmania. The marriage took place at 'Shrub Hill' in Sorell. The witnesses were Robert Blyth and Selina Blyth. Rosada Helen WALTERS died on 23 Jul 1954 in Launceston, Tasmania. She was cremated on 26 Jul 1954 in Launceston, Tasmania. Her ashes are interred with her husband, Robert. Robert BLYTH and Rosada Helen WALTERS had the following children:
