292. Samuel BLYTH
was born in 1835 in Virley, Essex. He inherited a part share in the residue
of his fathers estate on 7 May 1881. The residue of his fathers estate was to
be disposed of. The proceeds would pay any outstanding debts and the remainder
of the money was to be split equally between Samuel and his brothers and sisters.
In a Codicil, dated 4 May 1877, Samuels father revoked his sons legacy and requested
his Trustees invested it. The annual interest was to be used towards the upbringing
of Samuels children. The capital to go to his grandchildren once they reached
21. He was a Farmer. 1881 Census: Samuel was shown as a Farmer out of business.
1881 Census: Samuel, 46, widowed, was lodging with the Harradene family at 14
Ellington Street, Islington, London. He was married to Alice COOTE on 22 Sep
1855 in Writtle, Essex. Alice COOTE died between
1 Apr 1859 and 30 Jun 1859 in Springfield, Essex. Samuel BLYTH and Alice COOTE
had the following children:

Catherine BLYTH was born about 1863 in Springfield, Essex. She was baptized
on 4 Jul 1863 in Springfield, Essex. 1881 Census: Catherine, 18, single, was
staying with her uncle and his family at Sturgeons Farm, Writtle.

14, was at boarding school at St Johns College, Prittlewell. He inherited a
share in a Trust set up by his Grandfather, Samuel Blyth, on 7 May 1881. This
was to be invested until Charles reached 21 years old.

Kitty C. BLYTH was born in 1868 in Great Burstead, Essex. She inherited
a share in a Trust set up by her Grandfather, Samuel Blyth, on 7 May 1881. This
was to be invested until Kitty reached 21 years old. 1881 Census: Kitty, 13,
was at boarding school at 1,2,3 Cashionbury Terrace Ladies School, Prittlewell.

Marion Emma BLYTH was born in 1869 in Great Burstead, Essex. She inherited
a share in a Trust set up by her Grandfather, Samuel Blyth, on 7 May 1881. This
was to be invested until Emma reached 21 years old. She was also known as Emma
Marion. 1881 Census: Marion, 12, was at boarding school at 1,2,3 Cashionbury
Terrace Ladies School, Prittlewell.
