2. Thomas BLYTH died about 1709. He had an estate probated on 8 Jan 1710/11. 2 Oct 1705: Thomas appeared at the Chelmsford court. The Quarter Sessions records show the following: "The highway in Langham leading from Langham to Ardleigh road towards Colchester market, 60 perches in length, 1 Jan., was and is out of repair for want of scouring and 'sinking' deeper ditches there and cutting down trees and hedges belonging to the lands of Tho. Blyth of the same, sen.; and that Blythe ought to scour and dig deeper ditches and cut down the trees and hedges." The witness was Jos Grange. Thomas pleaded not guilty, he was found guilty. 1706: Thomas again appeared at the Chelmsford court. The Quarter Sessions records show the following: "Tho. Blyth of Langham yeoman, 1 Jan., in the highway leading from Langham to Ardleigh road towards Colchester "has digged" filth out of his ditch and put it on the highway there." Witness: Jos. Grange. He was married to Martha UNKNOWN. Thomas BLYTH and Martha UNKNOWN had the following children:

child7 v. Isaac BLYTH was born after 1688. He was a Yeoman in 1768 in Langham, Essex. He signed a Will on 28 Jan 1768. He died between Feb 1768 and Jun 1768. His Will was proved on 23 Jun 1768 in London. The will was proved by his nephews James Blyth the Elder of Langham and Daniel Blyth of Elmstead. 1709: In his fathers will Isaac is left £360 to be paid to him when he reaches the age of 21.
Jan 1768: When Isaac wrote his will he was living in Langham.
child8 vi. William BLYTH. 1709: From his fathers will William received "all land and tenements held of the manor of the Rectory of Langham" together with £350.
