73. Isaac BLYTH was born about 1746. He inherited a farm from his Great Uncle, Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768 in Boxted, Essex. "I Give and Devise unto my Great Nephew Isaac Blyth (Grandson of my late Brother James Blyth deceased) and to the Heirs and Assigns of the said Isaac Blyth for ever all that my Copyhold Messuage or Tenement and Farm which I purchased of the Widow Adkinson situate lying and being in Boxted in the said County of Essex now in my own Occupation or undertenants or assigns and holden of the Manor of Boxted Hall". He inherited land and property from his father on 29 Jan 1803. Isaac's father left him land and property in Langham which his brother, Thomas, was currently occupying. Isaac also was to take over a property occupied by Thomas ___ and Widow Baker together with 2 fields, one called 'Daniel Bakers' Field, approximately 4 acres. Isaac was to pay his brother, Thomas, £10. He signed a Will on 8 Apr 1824. When Isaac wrote his will he was living in Boxted. He died in Dec 1824 in Boxted, Essex. He was buried on 31 Dec 1824. Isaac died aged 78. He was from Boxted. His Will was proved on 26 Feb 1825.

He was married to Elizabeth BLOMFIELD on 15 Jun 1773 in Mile End, Essex. Isaac was single, from Langham. Elizabeth was single, from Mile End, she signed her name Eliza. Elizabeth BLOMFIELD was born about 1743. She inherited the use of her husbands property during her lifetime on 26 Feb 1825. Isaac instructed that his wife was to have use of the house, garden and land they lived in at the time of his death. She would not have to pay any rent. Elizabeth was also to receive £40 per year out of the profits of the farm left to her son, Samuel. She died on 1 Oct 1827. She was buried on 8 Oct 1827 in Lion Walk, Colchester, Essex. Memorial Inscription reads: Sacred / To the Memory of / Elizabeth, widow of the late / Isaac Blyth / of Boxted in the County / who died October 1st 1827 / Aged 84 years / Also William / Second son of / Saml & Sarah Blyth / of Boxted / and Grandson of the above / who died May 11th 1834 / Aged 21 years / Elizabeth Blyth / ______ (rest unreadable). Isaac BLYTH and Elizabeth BLOMFIELD had the following children:

148 iii. Elizabeth BLYTH was born in 1797 in Boxted, Essex. She inherited £10 per year from her father, to be paid by his brother, Samuel, on 26 Feb 1825. After the death of her mother, Elizabeth was to receive £15 per year in addition to the £10. She inherited £100 from her Uncle, Thomas Blyth, on 29 Apr 1844. Elizabeth was living in Colchester when her uncle wrote his will, 8th Feb 1842. She died on 31 Dec 1855 in Colchester, Essex. Elizabeth was living in the St Botolphs area of Colchester when she died. She was buried on 4 Jan 1856 in Colchester, Essex. 1841 Census: Elizabeth, 40, was living in alone Priory Street, Colchester (St Botolphs). She had 'independent means'.
1851 Census: Elizabeth, 54, was living alone at 78 Priory Street, Colchester (St Botolphs).
