FOURTH GENERATION24. James BLYTH was
born about 1717. He inherited £20 from his father on 12 May 1764. He was
a Farmer in Jan 1768 in Langham, Essex. He was made Executor to the will of
his Uncle, Isaac Blyth, on 28 Jan 1768. He inherited land and property from
his uncle, Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768 in Langham, Essex. "I Give and Devise
unto my Nephew James Blyth Son of my said late Brother James Blyth deceased and
to the Heirs and Assigns of the said James Blyth for ever all that Copyhold Messuage
or Tenement and Field late the Estate of Daniel Baker situate lying and being
in Langham aforesaid and now in the Occupation of my self and Widow Baker".
He obtained a marriage
license on 5 Nov 1743. James Blythe of Langham and Joseph Sadler of Gt Horkesley
paid the bond of £200. James Blyth, 26, single, and Abigail Holden, 21,
single, were both from Langham. The marriage was to take place at St James, Colchester.
He was married to Abigail HOLDEN on 5 Nov 1743 in St James, Colchester, Essex.
Abigail HOLDEN was born about 1722. She was buried on 21 Jan 1767
in Langham, Essex. James BLYTH and Abigail HOLDEN had the following children:
