142. Elizabeth BLYTH was born in 1770. She was baptized on 4 Jun 1784 in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. She inherited £100 from Mary Blyth in 1804. Mary left £100 to Elizabeth and her husband William. She signed a Will on 31 Oct 1844 in Terling, Essex. She died on 4 Oct 1852. Her Will was proved on 15 Oct 1852. She was buried in Terling, Essex. Buried in Terling Congregrational Church (now the United Reform Church).

She was married to William KEMP on 25 Feb 1794 in Langham, Essex. William was a dissenting minister from Colchester, Elizabeth was from Langham. Married by licence. Both signed their names. Witnesses were James Blyth and James Blyth Jnr. Memorial inscription reads: Elizabeth Blyth, daughter of / The Rev William Kemp who was / for many years the faithful Minister to / the people who assembled in this chapel / and Elizabeth his wife / together with their second daughter Rachel and two sons William / and James are interred in the / interior of this chapel. William KEMP was born about 1764. He died on 30 Jun 1844 in Terling, Essex. He was buried in Terling, Essex. The Reverend William Kemp was educated at Homerton College. He entered the Christian Ministery at Colchester, Essex in 1793. On the 15th October 1807 William was ordained pastor of the Independent Church in Terling, Essex where he served for the following 36 years, until his death in 1844, aged 80. Elizabeth BLYTH and William KEMP had the following children:

child258 ii. Rachel KEMP was born about 1797. She was baptized on 28 Jul 1801 in Terling, Essex. She was baptized on 31 Oct 1824 in Langham, Essex. On the 30th October 1823 Rachel was approved as a candidate for baptism at the Langham Baptist Church. When Rachel was accepted into Church, in 1824, the records stated she resided in Langham. She was buried on 19 Mar 1830 in Terling, Essex. Rachel stayed a member of Langham Baptist Church until her death in 1830.
Buried in Terling Congregrational Church (now the United Reform Church). Died aged 27, according to gravestone inscription.
