SIXTH GENERATION143. James BLYTH was born in 1771. He was baptized on 16 May 1799 in Langham, Essex. He signed a Will on 15 Mar 1834. He died on 22 Apr 1837 in Langham, Essex. James died aged 65. His Will was proved on 12 Jul 1837 in London. He was also known as James Blyth Jnr. He was a Farmer in New House, Park Lane, Langham, Essex. He was buried in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. James was received into the Baptist Church at Langham and he remained with them until he was excluded on the 29th June 1834. The following was written in the Minutes book "Mr James Blyth, on of the Deacons of the Church, was excluded for the sin of Drunkeness". He had been appointed Deacon on the 13th December 1809. UNKNOWN) on 16 Oct 1795 in Langham, Essex. Both James and Esther were from Langham.
Married by licence. Both signed their names, James as James Blyth Jnr. Witnesses
were Daniel Blyth and JR Halls . Esther SLANN was
born about 1772. She was baptized on 25 Sep 1772 in Stratford St Mary, Suffolk.
She died on 9 Nov 1815. Esther died aged 43. She was buried on 15 Nov 1815
in Langham Baptist Church, Essex. James BLYTH and Esther SLANN had the following

He obtained a marriage license on 14 Feb 1818. James (jnr), a widower, was from Langham, Sarah was from St Botolphs, Colchester. A bond of £100 was paid by James Blyth jnr and James Blyth snr. The marriage was to take place in Langham. He was married to Sarah GOWER. Sarah GOWER was born in 1777. She died on 19 Nov 1834 in Langham, Essex. She inherited a yearly payment of £40 from her husband, James Blyth, on 12 Jul 1837. Sarah was also left an annuity of £20. She was buried in Lion Walk, Colchester, Essex. Memorial Inscription reads: In / memory of / Sarah, Wife of / James Blyth / of Langham in __ounty / who died Nov 19 1834 / in the 57 year of her age / My flesh shall ___ ground / Till the ____ound / The _____ / A ____. |
