3.00 P.M. Tour of Paramount Lot. Visiting sets of: "UNCONQUERED" meeting C.B. De Mille, Gary Cooper and Paulette Goddard. "THE BIG HAIRCUT" - Dorothy Lamour and Alan Ladd. "GOLDEN EARRINGS" - Marlene Dietrich and Ray Milland.
6.00 P.M. Cocktails at Lucey's.
7.00 P.M. Paramount House for refresher.
8.30 P.M. Dinner and Entertainment - Earl Carroll's.
OCTOBER 3rd - Thursday:
10.00 A.M. Arrive at Studio
12.30 Luncheon with players
3.00 P.M. Tour through Santa Monica, stars' homes, etc.
6.00 P.M. Cocktails - Beverly Hills Hotel

3.00 P.M. Shopping; visit Crauman's Chinese Theatre and visit other landmarks.

7:30 P.M. Cocktails at Paramount House with Messrs. Luigi Luraschi, Henry Irving Taylor, Norman Siegel, Edward Schellhorn, also: Mr. and Mrs. Wright (Fox lawyer and parents of "Time" representative in London); also Mr. and Mrs. Murvyn Vye (Vye now appearing in "GOLDEN EARRINGS")
8:45 P.M. Dinner at Romanoff's with Messrs. Luraschi, Siegel, Taylor, and Schellhorn. (Saw such personalities David Niven, Louella Parsons, Herbert Marshall and a few others)
10:30 P.M. Onto Slapsie Maxie's - met Jerry Lester, the comedian Master of Ceremonies
OCTOBER 3rd - Thursday:
10:00 A.M. Arived at PARAMOUNT STUDIO.
10:30 A.M. Made a tour of the following sets: "DEAR RUTH": met Joan Caulfield, Edward Arnold, William Holdden, Billy De Wolfe, Bill Russell - Director. Photographs were taken. "THE BIG HAIRCUT": met Director - Tay Garnett and Dorothy Lamour. Whilst leaving set, met Alan Ladd who gave invitation to come back after luncheon.
1:00 P.M. Lunch at Lucey's
2:30 P.M. Discussion with D.A. Doran (Doran - Mr Ginsberg's production assistant on story matters)
3:30 P.M. Further tour of the sets: "THE BIG HAIRCUT": talked to Alan Ladd and Robert Preston. Photographs were taken. "UNCONQUERED": had a long chat with Cecil B. DeMille, as well as Gary Cooper and Paulette Goddard, also met Henry Wilcoxon and Howard da Silva. Photographs were taken in each instance.
5:30 P.M. Visited with Ray Milland in his dressing room.
6:00 P.M. Returned to Paramount House for Cocktails and 'refresher'.
8:15 P.M. Dinner and entertainment at Earl Carroll's Theatre Restaurant.
OCTOBER 4th - Friday:
10:30 A.M. Arrived at Studio. During course of morning, met Mr Y. Frank Freeman. Had chats with Messrs. Morris Simpson, Eugene Zukor and Mr. Luigi Luraschi.
12:30 P.M. To Brown Derby, Hollywood - bar for drinks.
1:00 P.M. Lunch at Brown Derby with Messrs. Luraschi, Siegel, Taylor and Schellhorne. Signe Hasso joined group.
2:30 P.M. Back to Studio to complete arrangements for reservations.
3:30 P.M. Drive out Sunset Boulevard to Santa Monica Beach and upon return, visited Farmers Market.
5:00 P.M. Back to Paramount House to pack luggage, etc.
6:00 P.M. Dinner at Beverly Hills Tropics.
8:00 P.M. To Los Angeles Union Station for:
9:00 P.M. Departure.

Reservations covering Drawing Room A and Upper 8 Car 238 from Chicago to Los Angeles via Grand Canyon, also Lower 8 Car 238 from Chicago to Grand Canyon only. Reservations are very difficult to work out via the Canyon because only one sleeper is operated with lay-over arrangement at the Grand Canyon. Drawing room is equipped with three beds and the gentleman occupying Lower 8 Car 238 will transfer to the third bed in Drawing Room A and occupy same between the Grand Canyon and Los Angeles. It will not be necessary to remove personal effects from Car 238 inasmuch as Car 238 will remain at Grand Canyon for the 12-hour stopover. Reservations have been made at the Paramount Cottage located
at 915 North Crescent Drive, Beverly Hills, California.
Return pullman reservations have been arranged by Mr. Syd Street at the Studio. We notified Mr. Street to furnish pullman reservations for Mr. Abbey to Chicago only. Validate return portion of your rail tickets. Herewith is the schedule submitted to Mr. Street:
