102. William BLYTH was baptized on 11 Aug 1757 in Elmstead, Essex. He inherited land from his Great Uncle, Isaac Blyth, on 23 Jun 1768 in Greenstead, Essex. "I Give and Devise unto my two Great Nephews Daniel Blyth and William Blyth (Sons of my Nephew Daniel Blyth) all that my Barn with Eighteen Acres of Lands more or less with the Rights thereunto belonging situate lying and being in Grinstead in the said County of Essex now in the Occupation of William _____ or his Assigns the Barn and upper Land I Give unto my said Great Nephew Daniel Blyth and the Low Land and Marshes unto his said Brother William Blyth". He inherited land and property from his father on 10 Aug 1782. William was to receive a "copyhold messuage or tenement with barns stable yards gardens orchard lands meadows, pastures seeding woods woodgrounds hereditaments and appurtenances known by the names Harkers and Reynolds ..." This was approximately 62 acres of land in Thorpe le Soken.

His father also instructed that the "land and premises with all the houses barns stables outhouses edifices yards orchards gardens arable lands meadows pasture grounds wood and woodgrounds rents common profits and commodities" making up his estate of Sneating Hall in Kirby le Soken should be valued by 2 independent people. The lease was to be transferred to William on condition that he paid the trustees of his father's will the agreed value.

William was also to receive £200. He was made Executor to the will of his brother, Daniel, on 13 Nov 1787. He was buried on 12 Apr 1813 in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. Memorial Inscription: To the memory / of / WILLIAM BLYTH / Late of Sneating Hall / in this Parish / who died Nov 30 1812 / Aged 56 Years / Also of MARY his Wife / who died April 15 1816 / Aged 51 Years. His Will was proved on 12 May 1813. He was a Farmer and Landowner. He died in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex.

He was married to Mary WILSON (daughter of Carrington WILSON and Mary YOUNGS) on 15 Jul 1783 in St Osyth, Essex. Mary WILSON was baptized on 12 May 1765 in St Osyth, Essex. She died on 15 Apr 1816 in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. She was buried on 20 Apr 1816 in St Michael's, Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. Memorial Inscription: To the memory / of / WILLIAM BLYTH / Late of Sneating Hall / in this Parish / who died Nov 30 1812 / Aged 56 Years / Also of MARY his Wife / who died April 15 1816 / Aged 51 Years. She was born in St Osyth, Essex. William BLYTH and Mary WILSON had the following children:

child226 v. Elizabeth BLYTH was baptized in Dec 1788 in St Michael's, Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. She signed a Will on 4 Jan 1817. In her will Elizabeth leaves £10 to each of her surviving brothers, her cousin Margaret Sophia Blyth, her friend Racheal Simson of Weeley and Racheal's daughter, Racheal. A trust of £500 was to be set up for her sister, Mary Morse. A second trust of £300 was set up for the education of Harriet Morse. This trust was to be overseen by Ann Oathwaite Blyth, Elizabeth's cousin. Elizabeth left £500 and the residue of her estate to her sister Charlotte Blyth. The Executors to the will were South Morse and Ann Oathwaite Blyth, they each received £30 for their troubles. Witnesses were Ruth Tabor, James Blyth and Elizabeth Tabor. She died on 13 Aug 1824. Her Will was proved on 30 Aug 1824 in London. The will was proved by South Morse and Ann Oathwaite Blyth. She was born in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. Died single.
