William wrote in his Will that his Executors should sell
Sneating Hall first appears in the Blyth history about 1779 when Daniel Blyth (1729-1782) leaves it to his son William (c1757-1813) in his will. Daniel instructed that the "land and premises with all the houses, barns, stables, outhouses, edifices, yards, orchards, gardens, arable lands, meadows, pasture grounds, wood and woodgrounds, rents, common profits and commodities" making up his estate of Sneating Hall in Kirby le Soken should be valued by 2 independent people. The lease was to be transferred to William on condition that he paid the trustees of his father's will the agreed value.
