85. Samuel BLYTH was baptized on 21 Dec 1770 in Alpheton, Suffolk. He was a Farmer in Oct 1799 in Great Wigborough, Essex. 1808: Samuel was farming in Gt Wigborough.
1819: Samuel was still in Gt Wigborough. He was made Executor to the will of his father, William Blyth, on 22 Apr 1808. He inherited £200 from his father, William Blyth, on 12 Oct 1810. This £200 was to be paid from the income received on the land left to Samuels brother, John. Samuel received a second legacy, £400 to be paid by his brother William from the income received from Belsted Hall Farm.

When his father wrote his will Samuel owed him £336 for money or goods. This sum was to be made part of his fathers estate. Samuel received one fifth of the residue and remainder of his fathers estate after all debts and legacies had been paid. He was made Executor to the will of his mother, Mary Blyth, on 13 Apr 1820. He inherited the use of Belsted Hall from his brother, William Blyth, on 17 Aug 1820. Belsted Hall Farm was to be passed on to Samuel's son, William, when he reached 21. He inherited one quarter share in the residue of his mothers estate on 23 Dec 1823. His mothers Will instructed the Executors to convert the residue of her personal estate into money and divide it between her four sons. He signed a Will on 5 May 1843 in Chelmsford, Essex. Samuel was living at Barn Hall, Tolleshunt Knights at the time of writing his will. He died on 31 Jul 1843 in Tolleshunt Knights, Essex. He was buried on 3 Aug 1843 in Tolleshunt Knights, Essex. His Will was proved on 20 Oct 1843 in London. The estate was sworn under £25,000. 1808: When his father wrote his will Samuel was living and farming in Great Wigborough.

He obtained a marriage license on 19 Oct 1799. A bond of £100 was paid by Samuel Blyth and Samuel Lufkin, Frances's father. Samuel and Frances were both from Gt Wigborough. Frances, 20, was still a minor, she was to marry with the consent of her father. Samuel was 24. He was married to Frances LUFKIN (daughter of Samuel LUFKIN) on 22 Oct 1799 in Great Wigborough, Essex. Both signed their names. Both from Great Wigborough. Witnesses were Elizabeth Hearn(?) and Isaac Blyth. Frances LUFKIN was born in 1779 in Norwich, Norfolk. She inherited a ring from her mother in law, Mary Blyth, on 23 Dec 1823. She inherited a cottage from her husband on 20 Oct 1843. Frances was to receive the cottage and garden in Whitehouse Hill, Tolleshunt Knights for her own use. When she died it was to be left to her son Thomas. Frances was also left £50, all her husbands clothes, watches and trinkets. She could retain items of household furniture, plate, linen, china, etc from the home up to the value of £60, the rest going to the trustees. The Trustees were instructed to invest £1000 in Government stocks or bonds, Frances was to receive the yearly interest. She signed a Will on 4 Nov 1845. When Frances wrote her will she was living at Great Pains, Virley. She died on 2 Sep 1859 in Tolleshunt Knights, Essex. Frances was 80 when she died. Probate of her will shows Frances died at Virley. Her Will was proved on 31 Jan 1860. Frances's will was proved by Samuel Blyth of Writtle, Farmer, and William Blyth of Colchester. Samuel BLYTH and Frances LUFKIN had the following children:

child168 vii. Frances Charlotte BLYTH was baptized on 26 Aug 1813 in Great Wigborough, Essex. 26 Aug 1813 was a private baptism. On the 20 Dec 1815 Frances Charlotte was baptised publicly. She died on 21 Nov 1829. She was buried on 28 Nov 1829 in Tolleshunt Knights, Essex. Memorial Inscription: In Remembrance / of / CHARLOTTE BLYTH / who died 21st November 1829 / Aged 16 Years. Footstone: F C B / 1829 She was also known as Charlotte.
